🌞 Join SERC-Chile / Communications Coordinator

Strategic position to strengthen the visibility, institutional positioning, and public projection of the SERC-Chile Research Center—a national and international reference interdisciplinary research center in solar energy that integrates science, technology, and public policy. Recently funded by ANID as a Center of National Interest.

This position aims to design and implement the Center's communication strategy for its new development phase 2026–2030 and strengthen the national and international positioning of SERC-Chile.

🔹 Main functions

  • Design and implement the Center's communications strategy, in coherence with the guidelines established by the Center's Management.
  • Manage the institutional positioning and communication identity of SERC-Chile before the scientific community, the public sector, industry, and the public.
  • Plan and coordinate scientific outreach and dissemination activities, highlighting results, impacts, success cases, and the Center's capabilities.
  • Develop and manage digital content and communication materials for web platforms, social networks, news media, and institutional reports.
  • Coordinate communication with partner institutions, external stakeholders, and national and international media.
  • Support the organization and dissemination of the Center's strategic events.
  • Prepare communication management reports that measure the reach, impact, and effectiveness of the actions carried out.
  • Ensure effective internal communication that strengthens identity and collaboration among the Center's teams.

🔹 Desired profile

  • University degree in communications, journalism, design, marketing, public relations, or other related fields.
  • Demonstrable experience (ideally ≥3 years) in institutional communications, scientific outreach, content management, or positioning of organizations in academic, scientific, or technological fields.
  • Ability to design communication strategies and execute multi-channel dissemination plans.
  • Writing, visual communication, and coordination skills with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Planning capacity, autonomy, and results orientation.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and social networks.
  • Proficiency in English at an intermediate or advanced level.
