On the morning of June 24, the director of SERC Chile, Rodrigo Palma, gave a unique talk. Accompanied by Professor Marcelo Matus, he explained the operation of solar energy to an attentive audience of 5 to 6-year-olds. The children, students of Pre-Kindergarten C at Colegio San Ignacio de Alonso Ovalle, learned how this form of energy works using solar toy cars, flashlights, and a windmill.
