To discuss and analyze the main challenges and development options for solar energy in Chile, the MSc in Energy and Environment program of the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez will host the seminar “Solar Thermal and Photovoltaic Technologies: Key Elements for Energy Development in Chile” on Thursday, September 4, at its Peñalolén campus.

A distinguished panel of experts will participate in the event, including Eduardo Bitran, Executive Vice President of CORFO; Alejandro Guillier, Senator and President of the Senate Mining and Energy Commission; Peter Israel, Managing Director of Origin Energy Chile; and Sergio Jarpa, Technical Vice President of Marubeni LP Holding B.V.

Following the presentations, a round table discussion moderated by faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences will take place. The seminar is supported by SERC Chile and Origin Chile.
