On October 16, researchers Luis Morán, José Espinoza, Claudia Rahmann, and Miguel Torres from Research Line 2, along with Rubén Peña from Research Line 1, visited the 100 MW Amanecer Solar CAP photovoltaic plant, located 40 km from Copiapó. The plant has more than 314,000 photovoltaic panels installed across approximately 280 hectares and has been feeding all of its generated energy into the Central Interconnected System (SIC) since February 16 of this year.
