In a brief meeting the director of SERC Chile presented the Solar Energy Center's progress to Governor Orrego.

In a timed hearing, SERC Chile director Rodrigo Palma informed the regional governor of the Metropolitan Region, Claudio Orrego, about the Center's scientific contributions and the challenges of bridging the gap between the energy scientific community and society at large.

Palma, representing more than 80 researchers associated with SERC Chile, cordially invited the authority to participate in milestones that could arise through joint collaboration, leaving open the possibility of including other interested organizations, with the goal of connecting the public with the scientific advances produced by the Center.
